Job Description
Associate Director - Opinion Leader Programs, HCV Marketing

The Associate Director (Director), Opinion Leader Programs, HCV Marketing lead the Speaker Bureau Program, Advisory Boards, and Sponsorships for the HCV Marketing Team.

This key brand marketing role reports to the Senior Director, HCP Promotions.

*Level of role may vary (Associate Director/Director) depending on candidate experience/ competencies

This role will be responsible for:

  • Leading and implementing key Opinion Leader Program (OLP) marketing strategies, campaigns, messaging, and tactics for the US HCV OLP Team.
  • KOL Development in partnership with Medical Affairs.
  • Develops the OLP strategies and executes an OLP Plan of Action.
  • Strategic lead for HCV commercial advisory boards to understand current market context, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Branded and Unbranded Speaker Bureau content including: Product Slide Decks, Roundtables, and Posters.
  • Speaker Bureau training, sustainment, and program measurement.
  • Sponsorship lead for regional conferences.
  • Serving as a key project team member on cross-functional projects.
  • Ensuring operational excellence and compliant activation of all key deliverables.
  • Effectively managing agency partners to produce deliverables within timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and deliver presentations to a range of internal (HCV leadership team, sales, cross functional colleagues, etc.) and external audiences (Advisory Boards, Speaker Trainings).
  • Working closely with promotional review committee to manage timelines and ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations and policies.

  • Closely managing and achieving budget targets.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 2-5 years in Medical Marketing, Brand Marketing, or Medical Affairs.
  • Strategic thinker with innovative mindset and ability to make critical decisions and recommendations among a range of strategic choices.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA/MS/scientific degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Must be able to travel as dictated by business need, including overnights and attendance at some nighttime and weekend programs.
  • Must be fluent in conversational and written English.
